Just updated to 7.0 and am no longer prompted to save a modified document when closing. I would like to get the prompt back.
It is still there - so probably the problem is with your system. Please try the following Test procedure:
Test user profile causing the issue:
- Start LibreOffice
- Restart in Safe Mode using
Help -> Restart in Safe Mode
and confirm the restart using button:Restart
- Click button
Continue in Safe Mode
- Open a file, save it (using an arbitrary filename) and make some changes
- Now use
File -> Close
(without any save in advance) - Check the Save Document prompt appearing.
If that works, then most likely your LibreOffice user profile is corrupt and you need to reset.
Unfortunately, safe mode did not restore the save prompt. Any further suggestions? I also attempted to reset the user profile but that did not work either.
Puuhhhh - why did you reset the user profile if the problem is not gone, while running in Safe Mode?
Please provide the info shown in Help -> About LibreOffice ->Button: Version Information
(The info goes to the clibboard so you can paste into your question - edit your question to add the info - an dplease provide your operating system. Nobody could reproduce this without having that information - as stated above: It works on my systems.
