No navigation between footnotes in Libreoffice with keyboard

Since I upgraded to trusty thair (Ubuntu 14.04), the navigation between footnotes by keyboard (arrow keys) just stoped to work in Libreoffice 4.2.3.3. I tried a fresh install of Libreoffice, even earesed the ~/-config/libreoffice folder before. No effect.

I found this, but that is not a real help at all. How to navigate between footnotes with the keyboard

Now, I runned out of ideas. Any suggestion is highly appreciated!

The bug mentioned in the linked question is not fixed yet, so it is clear, that it does not work in version 4.2.3. The answer in the other question list some workarounds. What information is missing?

I see. I was not aware, that the bug has not been fixed jet. At least, it is not obvious to me from the bug report. In this case, I’ll simply downgrade to 4.1.5. Thanks anyway!
