No text with pdf print on Manjaro

Hello, I’ve just installed a fresh operating system and LibreOffice. Using LibreOffice, the first issue I have is exporting to PDF, either by: File-> print-> print to file File → Export As → Export as PDF Using both methods, no text is displayed in the resulting PDF. Through a little experimentation, I’ve also found the lines of a table are displayed in a PDF, but again any text is not. I’m running LO suite version 6.4.4.2 in Ubuntu 20.04 I’ve run into an issue where PDFs exported by LibreOffice do not contain any text characters (although images, table borders and other elements are fine). This is true for Write or Calc (have not tested in Impress or others, though). The same happens when I print them (characters either are completely missing or appear garbled). But I’m on Manjaro, so I can’t “apt purge”. So I tried using a pacman command that comes close

sudo pacman -Rsn libreoffice-still

And reinstalled after. That didn’t solve the problem. Printing to pdf or exporting as pdf still results in an empty page.

What else could be done apart from reinstalling?

Did you already check whether the problem appears in LibreOffice’s Safe Mode (Help -> Restart in Safe Mode...) as well?

• Which Manjaro version are you using (though knowing Manjaro follows a rolling release model)
• Which LibreOffice version do you use?

Well it seems like it was rather trivial. I could fix it by changing the font from Cantarella to Droid Sans. Now it works like a charm.
