Not sure how to format-save for A0 print

Hi

I want to make a simple (mostly text and one Venn diagram) A0 size poster, I am trying Impress and Draw or Writer if it is better. I have also added a 6000 × 4234 pixel background.

Unfortunately with regard to having my layout looking good once scaled to an A0 size, I don’t know the DPI limits of my LibreOffice created Venn diagram. Also, what is the optimum format to save-export the file and what DPI should I go for without running the risk of a lower DPI image - document being upscaled when the image is enlarged?

In general: Is your aim a raster graphics file or a PDF file? PDF can handle Bézier curves and other curves which can be losslessly scaled.
