Not sure how to uninstall the older version of libreoffice on my MacOS. Just did an upgrade to Big Sur, which is the 11.1 version, yesterday. I wanted to open my documents, and was unable to. Please provide detailed instructions.

- Which LibreOffice version you have installed
- Whether you could start LibreOffice at all
- Whether you installed a new version (and which one)
- How do you try to open you document (yes, indeed there are several methods to open documents)
Probably, and this is just a guess based on your statement just did an upgrade to Big Sur, you need to install LibreOffice Version 7.0.4 (Installation procedure will ask, how to proceed with an existing LibreOffice installation, for which you could choose replace existing version)

- Open Finder
- Go to
/Applicationsdirectory/folder - Perform
Right click on LibreOffice.app -> Move to Trash - Optional: Empty Trash (available in dock)
(That’s how it works for any application, hence not a LibreOffice specific question)
