Numbering style in numbered list

Using 24.2.0.2 LO on Debian Testing and saving in .odt.

I would like to fix a small detail regarding numbered lists.
I have inside the texta structure like this:

  1. Title 1
    1.1. Subtitle 1
Text text text text text text text text text text text text text
    1.2. Subtitle 2
Text text text text text text text text text text text text text

  2. Title 2
    2.1 Subtitle 1
Text text text text text text text text text text text text text
    2.2 Subtitle 2
Text text text text text text text text text text text text text

The setting affects titles (Title 1) and subtitles (Title 2). To obtain automatic progressive numbering, I go to the “Paragraph style” tab – Heading 2 – Edit style – Structure and list"
Now, the text of the subtitle is in italic style and consequently the numbering also appears in italics, while I would like it in regular. When I go to the customization menu, I apply the “Numbering Font” style for the numbering, set the font to Regular, and nevertheless the numbering continues to appear in italics.
It seems that the global font of the title (italics) predetermines that of the numbering in any case.
An example:

Am I doing something wrong, omitting some steps?
Thank you

You’re certainly omitting to mention OS name, LO version and save format. Also, is this an example of headings (chapter, sub-chapter) or really a numbered list.
How was this list created? With the Heading n paragraph styles for headings? Or applying a list style to some paragraphs? Or even, Format>Bullets & Numbering which is a form of direct formatting creating a lot of problems when it comes to tuning it?

For best help, attach a sample file.
