Numeric Field Format when exporting to PDF

Hi,

I’m creating a form in writer which will then be exported to PDF. If I use a default numeric field it looks like this in writer:
[Can only put one picture in the post, but it looks correct in writer]
The only change to the config is that I enabled thousand separtor. For my local settings (windows, switzerland) this looks as it should. So: 1’000.00 is the standard format here. However, If I export to PDF the thousander separator changes to comma:

I’ve tested in:

  • Chrome PDF Viewer
  • Brave PDF Viewer
  • Adobe Acrobat Viewer
  • PDF XChangeEditor

Same result everywhere.

In Calc, the settings also look correct. Any setting or anything I can do to influence this?

Thanks & best regards,

If you toggle Design Mode off and enter a number in the field in the odt, is the number format correct for your locale/language settings?
If not, you should create a bug report for Writer forms, if it is correct in the .odt but not in the pdf then you should create a bug report for the pdf export, How to Report Bugs in LibreOffice - The Document Foundation Wiki
