I’m enjoying LibreOffice Writer very much. I’m a basic user, and judging from the topic questions, I don’t understand half of what the software is capable of doing. One of the most helpful bits of information displayed on the screen is the page __ of ___ that always appeared at the bottom of the screen as I scrolled through my document. It suddenly vanished, and despite much exploring, I can’t find a way to get it back. While not critical, it was nice to know where I was in my document. Can you please tell me how to get it back? Thanks! (Note: I’m not interested in having the information print in my document; I just want to see it on my computer screen…)
Click View > Status bar. Note that clicking on it will open a small Go To dialogue box so you can jump to a selected page
