Long time LibreOffice writer user; fresh reinstall of Linux Mint 21 (October 2022). None of the previous tricks for opening a document at the last used position work anymore. Any help?
Fill out Tools>Options>User Data (first and last name at least).
This info is stored locally for this feature and to be used as sender info in letters.
This is what I refer to as “previous tricks.” Added user data, left off editing end of document, and it opens to page 1 the next time.

If this does not help, you should reset the user profile.

I simply located the profile, deleted it, and created a new one. Problem persists.
