Using Libreoffice Version: 5.0.3.2

When I produce simple text documents in Writer, and place photo-images(jpeg), it looks fine.
and save as *.ODT
But when I open same doc in recent version of MS Word, layout is same, but images are 20% darker.
To be able to print out, I have to go to properties(in MSWord), and ++increase each image by 20%, save and then print. Otherwise my images come out almost competently black in the color printer
I have tried to find similar image ‘properties’ settings in LibreOffice, to change or preserve settings, but cannot.
My only other way around this is to export as PDF to preserve images settings.
But is there a better way ?
