My version of LibreOffice is 24-2-5-2. (Win 10) I have used the ‘Writer’ as my WP for several years. Suddenly the opening screen has changed and I can’t re-adjust it. See my screen shot attached. Can anyone help please?

On your screenshot, you marked the margin areas on rulers. So I assume, that these marked areas are what you describe as “the opening screen has changed”? But how exactly? Did they appear? or disappear, and your screenshot shows a previous / wanted state? Have they changed is size? or changed units? Or are the marks there on your screenshot just intended as a joke, and the true problem is in the book reading view mode selected on the status bar’s right side, showing large grey area at left? Or - does the “opening screen” term refer to LibreOffice Start Center, and not related to the shown Writer document at all?
