Page Number Not Working Correctly - The word "Page Number" appears Not the number

Hi,
I have the latest version Libreoffice: 7.3.7.2
I am trying to complete a proposal, but unable to enter a number in the footer or anywhere. The word “Page Number” appears instead of a page number such as “1.”

Someone suggested unchecking the “Comments” in the option section, and it still did not work:
Tools/Options/Libreoffice Writer/View/Dislplay/Comments

Any help I would greatly appreciate.
