We have a CAD product called GstarCAD. When we copy data from Calc to GstarCAD, it will become a OLE object. But the source application is images and not Calc. Our developer checked this and confirmed when data comes from Calc, it is already a image. When we copy data from EXCEL to GstarCAD, it will be regarded as an OLE data and the source application is EXCEL, so we are able to double click it and jump back to EXCEL to do further edit. This is not possible in Calc. If we do INSERTOBJ in GstarCAD, we can choose the OLE type we inserted, for example open document table, but it saids “Can’t create object, confirm the object was already registered In the system registry”. Does anyone know why it happens?
If you could guide me how to insert OLE in CAD and edit it with Calc once again, I will appreciate a lot.
