PDF File through Draw module

Hi, I am facing the following troubles while opening an PDF file :
1- It takes long time to open the file.
2- The text of each page is overlapping with itself.
Please advise in this regard.

For point 2, you need the same fonts installed in your system as were used in the pdf. LibreOffice Draw does not use any embedded fonts that might exist in the pdf.

Remember, Draw is a graphics program, not a pdf reader

Can I convert a PDF file to a Word File?

To open a PDF in LibreOffice Writer, you need to choose “PDF - Portable Document Format (Writer)” in the File Open dialog: [image description] Then you can save it in whatever format you wish (to odt, to doc, to docx).

Writer does not supply the Shape > Consolidate text command to convert individual text boxes to a single text box that Draw does.
