The taskbar never remembers any of the LO programmes after re-boot. It does remember the browser, email, snipping tool and other software programmes I have pinned, but why not LO? Its frustrating because I also pin frequently used documents in each of the platforms, but these all disappear after each re-boot. I know these can be retrieved using File > Recent Documents >
Is there a plan to correct this in the next upgrade? I noticed this has been requested many times before.
You have set tag “base”, which is the database component. Please switch the tag, because it isn’t a specific Base problem.

As this works nicely with my Win10 pro I guess you use another OS?

I have to admit, I only added Calc, but with right mouse buttons context menu I get even a “recent files” list specific for Calc.
If you meant “after reinstall”, then this is tdf#76131.
This is a known problem; but there is no on-going work on fixing that.

Did you upgrade last week? 7.6.5 was only announced 2024-02-22. I suspect that what you see is exactly because of the upgrade.
Yes I did, but this happens everytime I reboot, sadly. Its a little annoying, but not half as bad as trying to import photos onto my PC 
I said that because as I constructed the question, a side bar appeared with a history of this reported in previous years, but there didnt appear to be a solution to any of those.
