Moved a PowerPoint presentation from old laptop to new Windows 11 Home edition and downloaded LibreOffice in lieu of Microsoft Office. Presentation slides include text boxes containing links to Audacity.exe for playing sounds. Worked fine on old Windows Vista and MS Office PC, but causes popup “Warning” that I have to click through before the embedded application can run. How can I prevent the popup?
@rslittle: It looks like a security warning introduced lately (tdf#128969). I doubt there’s something you can do here.
Indeed it is a security warning. I can click through it and proceed, but it is a major annoyance to have to repeat that each time I trigger a sound to be displayed during my public presentations of the PowerPoint program. I can’t tell if the warning is issued by the latest Audacity, or by LibreOffice instead of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, or by Windows 11 Home edition instead of Windows Vista - all of which are “new” environments for playing this old presentation on my new PC.
