I downloaded a pptx file from my organisation and it simply takes ages to open. It does have a lot of graphic elements but it opens just fine in WPS Is there any way I can make it load faster or does it need any fix.it took a literal 3-5 minutes to open so can somebody help me fix this because I really like Libre’s user interface and want to replace MS Office with it while still being able to use the Office format that everyone uses.
Edit your question and paste the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffice (There is an icon to copy)
If you mean, that your goal is to use OOXML (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX), then honestly, better use MS Office. Yes, LibreOffice can import and export these formats. But every edit cycle like that would introduce more and more artifacts that makes the documents less manageable (and of course, LibreOffice compatibility with external formats is not (and will never be) perfect).
You are “able to use”, but this is not the main goal of LibreOffice. It has its own internal format, so conversion is needed on every load/save. It would be interesting to know, if your file would load quicker, when saved in Impress-format. If not I would check first size and format of your graphics.

PS: If even persons not using MS-Office use their formats because “everyone” does, this will never change. So check, if using other formats is possible. (My company is quite free of MS-Office now. We have a small legacy Access-db left to be converted and one person still using MS-Office out of habit… For all others the OS does not matter much…
