Hello,
I would like to print comments to a text by others in the margins. I am using LO 7.6.0.3. German version with Ubuntu 22 04.03 LTS, Mate 1.26. I have activated in Extras> Options> Writer > Printing > Comments in Margin as well as the same for the document itself. It does not work, I do not see the comments in the preview as well, in neither position, not at the end of the document, not at the end of the page. When printing as a PDF and activating the print comments in margins box, it works, though.
I tried it with odt as well as with docx
I use a Brother printer
Any help?

The page margin in the PDF file is altered compared to the original Writer page margin.

I have Linux Mint installed on a second desktop (Ubuntu 22.04, Linux Mint 21.2.m LO 7.3.7.2)
Same problem, when I want to print the document with LO i do not get the comments, exporting it into a PDF-File and then printing works…
Haben Sie Ihren Screens-shot jetzt mit PDF gemacht oder direkt mit LO? Ich habe in den Extras-Optionen-Drucken in LO alles so angeklickt, wie es sein sollte. Schon in der Druckvorschau ist da gar nichts… Aber auch alle anderen Kommetnarformen (am Ende des Dokuments usw.) bringen die Kommentare nicht aufs Papier.
Na ja mit PDF geht es ja, aber sonst ist mit LO immer alles kein Problem…

I made my print-out into a PDF file, I did not use the regular way of export into PDF. So the PDF file shows the same result as a print-out on paper. For that reason I showed the PDF on a PDF viewer…

Regarding Print Preview, i am not sure if my remark is valid: option to print comments inside margins is in the Print dialog. Print Preview takes its parameters from Print Settings. So the option should have no impact on Print Preview which won’t show the comments.
