Printing labels on Brother QL-500

I need help printing 3- or 4-line address labels on a Brother QL-500. The labels are 3.75" long, 1.25" wide. I haven’t been able to set up a page at the correct size, and when I try printing anyway I’m told the size I’ve selected doesn’t match what’s in the machine.

No, the printing dialog does not have the setting “Use only paper size from printer preferences” in the Options tab.

Thanks in advance for help.

Does this help, QL-500 Creating a label with OpenOffice (Linux) | Brother UK Support

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, those instructions seem to apply only to OpenOffice, not LibreOffice.

LibreOffice is derived from OpenOffice so normally if it works for one then it works for the other. [Edit] Link refers to a template file but there is no link so I suppose they removed it for some reason.
The instructions are for Linux printer drivers, do we have to guess you have Linux? Can you click Help > About LibreOffice, then click the icon next to Version Information to copy it to the clipboard and paste it into your question.
