Printing the index without the dots

Hello. When I create an index in a text document (a book), it is displayed with an awful lot of dots. It’s not very elegant. Is it possible to display and print it without all the dots? How do I change to appearance? Thank you.

Right-click on the index and select Edit Index

1. Select the tab Entries and select Level 1 under Level
2. Click on the T in Structure
3. In the field Fill character select the blank or another character
4. Repeat steps for each level below
