Hello,
I got a document from Google Docs, I exported it to ODT, then on LibreOffice Writer I did some fixes, and exported it to EPUB… But no images were exported.
I was able to get the images by exporting it to epub straight from Google Docs (The epub there actually doesn’t work on my reader, which is why I’m doing all this approach), so I replaced all of them, exported and it worked… Until I noticed that the images were in the wrong size…
It seems that Google Docs turns the images into something equivalent to a Drawing Object, so the square image turns into an image of proper size in the document, however, the images don’t get exported when it’s like that.
In other words: Proper image = rectangle / Google Docs export = square
Looking at the Navigator, I noticed all images are “Drawing Objects”, and before when I replaced them, they got into the Images category, and worked fine, so I think the problem is there.
My question is: Is there a way to convert (I would guess the term is rasterize) Drawing Objects into Images in Writer?
I searched for many answers, but most of the time it was related to LibreOffice Draw. I searched for options everywhere about converting or rasterizing, but I could find nothing of the sort.
I’m using Archlinux, Writer version 7.5.1.2
