Q1. Is Java version 8, update 271 correct to use with LO 7.0.3.1 and Mac OS 11.0.1? Q2. If Java V8/271 is incorrect, what is the correct version?

Libre Office 7.0.3.1, on Macbook pro OS 11.0.1, with Java Version 8, update 271.

Base unusable owing to several different Libre Office Java-related error messages which occur when trying to enter data/edit Table.

Have not included error messages (have screen shots), as am hopeful that answers to the 2 questions will resolve problem. (Also, I’m unsure at the moment how to include screen shots.)

Hello, It is my understanding that JDK 12 works for your OS. See also this post → “LibreOffice requires a Java runtime environment (JRE) to perform this task. The selected JRE is defective.”

BTW - When asking (or editing) a question or giving an answer, there is a toolbar in the upper left area. On that toolbar is an icon for posting images (left of paperclip).
