QR-codes on labels, data in spreadsheet

Greetings from Juneau, Alaska,

I have a project where I would like to print QR-codes on label stock, for plants in a garden.

The data are in a LO spreadsheet, with species name in the 1st column, and a website to link to in the 2nd column (the website link is different for each species). I would like to print a label with the name and corresponding QR-code for each row of data in the spreadsheet, on stock that has multiple labels per page.

The most recent post on the forum that I can find ( labels w QR-codes ) hints at a possible workflow in one of the comments, but the thread ends before a workable solution is presented.

I understand LO’s process for generating labels from data in a spreadsheet, but I can’t see how to print QR-codes on the labels on label stock with multiple labels. With over 200 labels to print (and more to come), automating this process would be very helpful (essential).

Here’s a recent youtube that shows how to do what I need in MS word ( QR-codes on labels, using MS word ) – look at about 3:00 minutes in, to cut to the chase.

Can this be done in LO?
