i recently changed to LOffice, it came highly recommended over msoffice. so far its not working for me I’ve tried to use LB like would ms but that darn error message of retyping the password. I’ve looked all over the internet and have been unable to find any help. even the help offered here has been no good. makes me wonder if there is no help for this error. (re-type password) and it just won’t go away it keeps coming up. i keep canceling so that i may keep working but inevitably locks me out to where i am unable to do anything and forcing me to close the app without saving, causing me to loose all work done. help as i do not want to go back to msoffice but might have to.

- Operating System
- When does the error message appear (for examle on Saving) ?
- Is it really an error message? (Exact wording or Screenshot)
- Are the files you are accessing password protected? Or do they reside on a network storage where password is required?
- Anything else you think might be of importance to this issue.

If you have been used to use MS Office then there is a chance that you saved your files to OneDrive and it is not LibreOffice asking for the password but MS OneDrive login. Is that the case?
