Currently trying to assist a partially sighted person, they would like to use readtext with espeak in Libre Office under Linux Mint 22.2.
Everything works as advertised but the default reading speed is painfully slow. Having spent two hours trying to find instructions for adjusting the playback or read speed I have (thus far) not found any step-by-step instructions.
Cannot find any configuration utility either in Mint (for espeak) or Libre Office (for readtext). I believe it can be done, I seem to remember doing so on another machine a couple of years ago but I am currently stymied.
Is there a configuration utility to allow me to select languages and reading speed, preferably with GUI?
