I am using LibreOffice 3.6.4 on a Mac.
In Writer I modified a shortcut key so that it is assigned to Recent Documents (via Tools/Customise/Keyboard).
I have tried several different shortcut keys (eg Shift+F7, Command+F7, Command+K) but pressing any of these shortcut keys does not bring up the list of recent documents.
Is it possible to assign Recent Documents to a shortcut key that works?

No, that will not work.
(This function should be removed from “Customize → Keyboard…”)
You can select the submenu via "Alt+F → U" (UI en-US, on Windows).

Thank you for the responses and confirming it is not possible.
The short answer is No. Maybe the problem is that the Recent Documents function is a menu item and not a dialog box… It doesn’t work with ANY key combination under Win XP either. I’m not sure if this a bug or a missing feature
