Recent Documents button, Toolbar, does not work. Menu entry works.

The Recent Documents entry in Writer > File works properly.
The Recent Documents button activated on the Task Bar does not.
How do I make that work, please?

Are you clicking on the Task Bar icon for documents or on the little downward-pointing arrow that appears to the right of the icon?
