Reduce table length in Writer

I am runnng LO version 24.2.0.3 on a Windows 10 Pro laptop. I have an .odt document with a one-column table in two columns with blank space at the bottom. I can’t seem to access “Properties,” so how do I tighten up the table to eliminate the blank space at the bottom?

(Also, I can’t seem to select either a category or a tag, nor can I figure out how to attach the document [which is stored in Dropbox].)

Impossible to answer without OS name, LO version and save format. For best advice, attach a sample file.

Please do this by editing your post (press … under your question, then use the “pencil” tool). Don’t us ea comment or, worse, a solution.

EDIT
To attach a document, press on the icon looking like an “Outbox” with an upword arrow (when you’re in post edit mode).
