Remove Libreoffice from Ubuntu 22.04.5

In the process of loading LO, I had a problem with the install from the official site. It was probably me.

I then found a reference to a PPA and did that.

Everything seemed to be working until I opened two different documents: one came up in LO version 7 but the other came up in LO version 24.8

I want to completely delete both and loaded 24.8

I tried a number of terminal commands I saw online, but they didn’t seem to work. There was always something left over.

I am running Ubuntu 22.04.5

HELP!!!

Thanks,
Rich Ramik

When you tell, wich commands you used, one may tell, where the problems may be.
.
Generally: Ubuntu uses Snap for years. So to get rid of Ubuntu’s LibreOffice you need to remove the snap.
Your PPA will be controlled via apt, synaptic etc
Third problem may be desktop integration wich may not be covered by commands funnd n the web…
