Restarting Macro after Idle

I have a macro that starts when the document is opened and that runs continuously. This works just fine.

However if I leave the document idle for a few hours, when I come back the macro is no longer running. If I reopen the doc then all is well, but I don’t always remember.

Is there a command, event that I can trigger that will restart the macro?

can you log the time when it “stops”. will give you a better idea of the “problem”.
