when use Google Drive as cloud storage，enter “user name” and " password" Login in Dialog , then, forever, ur device is invalid. As of OneDrive, Login in Dialg, it all frozon not to enter nothing. Only FTP service work, i wanna know what happen, and how to solve , ty
In the case of Google Drive it is possible the answer here is related.
With respect to OneDrive / Alfresco there is a more serious problem with the implementation of these cloud solutions. For now (v5.1.2, v5.2.0) these options have been removed from the menu until an effective solution can be determined and re-implemented. Refer tdf#62437.
Sorry to inform that neither LO Version: 5.4.7.2 or LO Version: 6.0.5.2 can handle Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive logins well.
As many reported even using 2FA on google products; the LO message is always “The device is invalid”
By other way the Microsoft OneDrive can’t differenciate personal MS OneDrive from corporative MS OneDrive since personal uses Microsoft account? but corporative uses Sign in to your account anyway although personal MS OneDrive goes further when can login to MS the returned string after accept LibreOfficeDev as authorized app (copied from address bar of the browser) can’t complete the processes saying “The Specified device is invalid”.
Sorry folks looks that remote access of that services within LO is broken.
Time to use the GDrive and MSODrive clients for macos (High Sierra) for a while for me.
Although not using it on a regular basis, Google drive has been working for many versions. Have just now successfully used it in LO v6.0.5.2 on Mint 18.3.
Load & saving Writer Doc was no problem.
I saved daily, after 8 days I noticed it was not saving to onedrive! I talked to onedrive, onedrive said it is LIbreoffice giving false saving of file! Also said if it was Microsoft Office it could be fixed!!! There’s the problem! Now I go online to onedrive and upload my files, daily, it works!
