I want to insert curved print (in one photo) onto another photo. I got the print all lined up into the exact place I wanted it but cannot save it. It does not save it at all. How do I save my work after I combine to photos? Thanks.
Please edit your question (don’t use a comment) to elaborate more. Describe precisely what you’ve done (with which tool/app), the result and what you expect. Mention OS name, LO version and target format (.odt native or .doc(x) alien).
It’s Okay . Sorry I cannot make it any simpler. I’ll Google it!!
It isn’t a matter of making it simpler. It is a matter of understanding what is at stake. And if you google it, it is likely you’ll get matches on this site.
Have you combined your text and photo in another application? (so that you have a single image to insert). When you write “It does not save it at all”, does it mean File
>Save
is disabled? Or when you reopen your document, the image is no longer there?
As you see, your description is not sufficient to apprehend what is happening.
Writer is not a graphics editor.
You could overlay one image on to another in Draw, even selecting a color to make transparent area to see image below. Select both images and paste into Writer as a Draw object, or Export as jpg from Draw.
Personally, I would use a photo editor like the Gimp to manipulate the photos to make a combined one that could be inserted into Writer
