Having imported data from Excel without specifying that the file contained a date field, whenever I try to sort the data in a certain way – by filtering by year or months – the data imported incorrectly from Excel displays every single day. Furthermore, having noticed that the dates were not all formatted in the same way and that some had an apostrophe as the first character, I removed it, but this did not solve the problem, and I am forced to select every single day and cannot filter by month or year anymore.

Select Column A and go to ⇒ Data ⇒ Text to Columns:
Dont miss to change the Columntype from Standard to Date(DMY)
