Selecting text color, cursor quivers/shakes

MacOS Monterey 12.5, Intel iMac, Writer 7.3.5

I select the text.
I click on Font Color down arrow in Properties sidebar.
When I move my cursor over any colors, the cursor quivers/shakes with some flickering words.

Nuking my user profile fixed this problem.
