Session Crashes When Moving Cursor

I can recreate this issue 100% of the time. I just start writer and in the document hit enter many times or control enter or open a document with many pages and then simply move the mouse cursor over the grey area between the bottom of one page and the top of the next. As soon as I do this the screen goes black for a few seconds and I end up on the login screen for my desktop environment.

I’ve tried a fresh install of Mint 20.04 with Cinnamon and Ubuntu 20.04 with Gnome and both do the exact same thing.

dmesg shows this:
traps: SHCLX11[7303] general protection fault ip:7f92cb0ec9f6 sp:7f92a2783a00 error:0 in libc-2.31.so[7f92cb0c8000+178000]

syslog shows this:
Jul 4 11:59:38 pcb systemd[1]: Started Process Core Dump (PID 16340/UID 0).
Jul 4 11:59:39 pcb gnome-terminal-[9186]: gnome-terminal-server: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.

Any ideas how to fix?

Hello,

please read the answer to this question: Lubuntu 20.04, LibreOffice 6.4.3.2. My Samsung ML 1610 printer does not print text correctly through LibreOffice. It prints graphics correctly.

May be this could help you as well.
