It’s absolutely annoying me. I can’t find shortcut to navigating to the next/privious page in LO Writer. In Microsoft Word, we can do with Ctrl + Page Up → Previous page or Ctrl + Page Down → Next page. Should I costumize the shortcut for this option? I’ve tried, but always failed to access the new shortcut for LO Writer.
Hi @LeoKusuma,
Looks like Ctrl+PageUp and Ctrl+PageDown already have bindings in LO:
Ctrl+PageUp - Switch cursor between text and header
Ctrl+PageDown - Switch cursor between text and footer
I don’t see any preset shortcuts listed for navigating up/down a page, but I guess that’s something you could add yourself. Is this something that you think LO should add to the default configuration?
it can still be navigated by click on navigator keys located in the right side (bottom). but, it make me so tired. i want LO add some customize shortcut for them for the next update.
@LeoKusuma, For your personal use I’d just suggest you make local changes to your key bindings.
If you think that there should be keybindings added by default, please file an enhancement bug and provide a suggestion as to which key combos to use. Don’t forget to mark your bug as an ‘enhancement’.
Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format “fdo#123456”.
Thanks!
@LeoKusuma - You can customize key-assignements
Open Writer
tools / customize / keybords / functions / category = navigate and functions / funciton
There you find
select begin of next page
select end of next page
select begin of previous page
select end of previous page
and some more
You can assign key combination you like.
As @qubit1 pointed our ctrl+PageUp or PageDown could be fixed allocated. However, I am sure you will find a suitable combination.
Okey, it’s work… at least it can be navigated to the similir next/previous page. It might be added by LibreOffice for the next update.
