I use LibreOffice calc to make rosters and it seems like I ran into some issue I cannot find a clear answer on with google search or the forums here. My cells all give [$] in front of the values I have set in the cell and I don’t find to know why. Picture of occurence
I would appreciate it if someone can tell me whats happening and how I can get rid of them.
It looks like you have a custom format set.
Have you tried formatting the cells as Text or General?
Select the cells, click Format- Cells - Number and select General if there are formulas or numbers that need calculating. Select Text if you don’t need to calculate anything and you don’t want anything to change, e.g. leading zeros
Looks like tdf#161301. Note the leading “[$]” garbage will be stripped as of LO 24.2.5, but the x16r2:formatCode16 attribute is not supported so the (in that example) forced ja-JP custom format is not preserved but display string depends on the system locale.
