It has nothing to do with light/dark!
The sign of a printer doesn’t look like a printer in the latest version!
menu:Tools>Options>View and choose another icon theme such as “Elementary”

This is how the correct dark mode printer icon looks like:
This is how it looks on your screenshot:
If you replace the dark area (and the dark “white” paper) with your bright background, you get your wrong image.
Open Tools → Options → LibreOffice → View, and choose “Mode”->“Light”.
