I have what I think is a pretty basic question, but I can’t for the life of me figure it out.
I created a pivot table with the proper data in it, and I want to create a chart that shows a line. I want to create a line chart based on the type of data that is summed in the pivot table.
That part works well. The part that doesn’t is removing the legend for the x-axis. It shows a gray box that is very unseemly, and I’m not sure how to get that box to disappear.

In the above image, I don’t need the label that says “date” at the bottom, and I don’t know how to make it disappear. And on the right-hand side, I just need the legend beside the lines. I don’t need the word “type” above it. How do I do that? It’s probably very simple, but I can’t figure it out.
