Snap to grid in Writer

Using LibreOffice 5.3 on MS-Windows 7 Pro SP1.
I have a Writer document I’m working on, I have the Grid displayed.

I have inserted a couple of small Frames into the document and to position them I want them to snap to the grid when I position them roughly in place.

I’ve searched a lot but cannot seem to find exactly how to do this in Writer?

  1. Is it possible to snap to grid in writer?

2 How can it be done?

Thanks

It should be possible with Tools->Options->LibreOffice Writer->Grid->Snap to grid

Sorry folks, but I’ve had to abandon my project using LibreOffice.
With Snapping to grid not working, the inability of LO to select multiple frames, the project became a tedious grind.
I’ve restarted the project in another app which actually does snap to grid, does easily select multiple frames and a lot more…
So bye for now.

That’s what I thought, unfortunately (And I’ve just checked again) it does not.
When I move a frame and drop it, it stays where dropped near a grid line but doesn’t auto snap to the grid.

FWIW. The frame in question is exactly the same size in increments (5 x 3) as the grid blocks, so there’s no excuse for it not snapping exactly to the grid.

Thanks
