Snap to grid with Cntl key, not working?

I’m reading the Draw Guide, and in chapter 2, under Straight lines, Creating lines, it says

4) To snap the end of a straight line to the nearest grid point, hold down the Ctrl
(macOS …) key while drawing the straight line.

If I hold down Ctrl, nothing different happens. I can toggle the behavior with the “Snap to Grid” button on the toolbar.

Is this a bug? (version 7.6.3.2, Windows)

Also when drawing an ellipse, holding down Alt causes it to both draw from center point, and snap to grid, while Control does nothing. So something about the modifier keys is funky.

Yes. It’s a bug.
Instead of Ctrl it must say Alt (page 31 of the Draw Guide 7.6).
