Spell check suggestions not visible

spell check suggestions not visible, they are installed & working; but the suggestions are white text on a white background, so no one can read them. I’ve tried changing themes, both local & global.

Using Version: 7.1.1.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 10(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: kf5
OpenSUSE Leap 15.2
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Hello,

this seems to be a problem of the current openSUSE build delivered from openSUSE repositories: I can reproduce in my openSUSE 15.2 system using openSUSE’s current version of LibreOffice (7.1.1.2), but it does not reproduce using current TDF packages (from libreoffice.org):

Version: 7.1.3.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 47f78053abe362b9384784d31a6e56f8511eb1c1
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: kf5
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Hence it looks like you need to file a bug report with openSUSE at Bugzilla Main Page

Hint

The problem is with qt5 package libreoffice-qt5-7.1.1.2-lp152.2.6.1.x86_64. Using export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3;libreoffice or export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen;libreoffice does not produce the issue.
