I cant engage the spell correct setting, where mistakes show automatically with underlines and whatnot.
It was a default setting on my older one… Im now using version 7.6.4.1
What is your OS? How did you update? Have you installed the dictionary and utilities for your language? If the language is not configured as default, have you correctly “language-tagged” your text? Check Default Paragraph Style paragraph style Font tab. There is a drop-down menu for the language. If it is set to None, no spell checking will occur.
A quick way to fix this is to set Tools>Options,Language Settings>Languages default language for documents. This setting is persistent.
OS 11… I just reinstalled Libreoffice i didn’t update it… i didnt do any special installs.
Ill check what you suggested!
OS 11: Windows 11 or MacOS 11.x.y? In the latter case, use Preferences instead of Tools menu.
