Tools > AutoCorrect > While typing is selected as always, but spellchecking has ceased. What other setting is needed?

Interesting… It’s always been English, now it’s blank. It lists all the options in the world, including the one I need, but won’t let me select any of them.
You do full copy and paste from other documents and websites, don’t you?
Very rarely. Everything I do is organic inside Libre, except brief snippets cut-and-pasted from the web.
Never paste any text from other documents or websites. Always paste text only into your own layout and formatting context.
USE STYLES. Without using styles you mess around with a software you don’t understand.
