Start screen greyed out icons

Hi! I just installed LO Still / Linux Debian on Ubuntu 14. Only the Write icon is active, Calc etc. are greyed out. How do I activate other apps? Cheers, Andrew

I got it, all apps are under Applications menu, greyed out apps when Write was opened not Office. Case closed
