Insert>Field>Date
Date field is produced. Looks as it should.
Later the date field will have 1 or more strikethrough lines running through it
I have seen this problem for a very long time. Its minor except makes it hard to read the date.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
The usual cause of unexpected strikethrough is when you delete something and Track changes and Display changes are both enabled. If that doesn’t help you to resolve your issue, I guess we need more info:
Define “Later” (how much time passes, and what happens to your document in between): Is it after a few minutes working on the file, the next day, when you save and reload, etc.?
Edit your question to add a couple of items:
Its not Track Changes or Display Changes, those are both disabled.
Later is any amount of time. Could be a few seconds, such as after I scroll the field off screen and then back again. Or could be the next time I open the file. Sometimes I can add or delete a space after the field and it fixes it until I scroll it off screen and back again within a few seconds.
Interestingly, I only have this happen while using some certain background colors and not others.
