Switchboard Assistance in LO Base

I am trying to put together a switchboard. I’ve seen some (rather dated) Youtube presentations that demo how to create one. I can get the buttons to open a database. But I want, with one click, to open a form from the switchboard. However, unlike the case of finding a database file (for the open document / webpage action), I have had no luck finding a form file. Sorry for my newbieness, but can anyone point me to some info or knowledge about this? Thanks
J

Where do you have the link?

English documentation

Instead of a switchboard, you can convert your embedded forms to stand-alone forms which are ordinary Writer documents. Writer documents can have hyperlinks and buttons loading other Writer documents, and you can organize them by means of desktop links.
My little macro suite FreeHSQLDB contains a macro “FreeForms” to extract all embedded forms.

Forms are usually quite specific to the used database. So you usually create a new one for your database.

The guide for base has a chapter on macros and there also a section how to open other form. (I assume your switchboard is also a form in Base.)

.
And just as an idea: In the following (german) thread you can select the next form from a dropdown in the upper left of the active form (“Kunde” in the picture shown there):

This video of any use?

Otherwise, there used to be a switchboard extension you could use, assuming it is still working with current versions of LO (it is quite old, and may no longer work)
