How do I set the value of default spacing of contents – in a writer template?

You can create new Table Autoformat based on your existing table properties.
I think - but am not sure - that spacing to content is remembered in Autoformat only since 3.6. So if you are still using 3.5.7 (or earlier), you must upgrade.
But Table Autoformats are not written in templates, so if you want to share your template with someone, this is total no-go.
Or you can simply create new paragraph styles that will be applied to table cells. But again - user of your template must know that he has to apply paragraph style to table.
Autoformat is acceptable for me.
One can also tweak the “Table Contents” style. But this is a limited solution – for it is not allowed to set negative vertical spacing: “Above paragraph” and “Below paragraph” options in style could not be negative (I need to set them -0.05).
