Table of Content for Chapter to exclude Chapter title (Heading 1 style)

Default styles. The document to have 2 types of Table of Content:

  1. On the 1st page of Document: Table of Content (For: Entire document) up to levels 3.
  2. On the 1st page of every Chapter: Table of Content (For: Chapter) up to levels 5.

How to make 2nd type of ToC: Table of Content (For: Chapter), not to show Heading 1 in the first line?

(in the screenshot below: how to make the red Heading 1 in Chapter ToC not appear)?

While waiting for the tdf#152075 enhancement request to be implemented, you can do it with a careful trick based on specific configuration comment of the TOC request dialog and creation of a dedicated paragraph style. See my suggested trick in tdf#152075 comment 13.

Go to section Create From on the Type page of the TOC-dialog. Deselect Headings and select Additional styles. Click on button Assign styles. You get a list of the paragraph style and can manually determine on which level position it is shown in the TOC. Thereby “0” means, that it is not shown at all.
