I’m working with a document that’s all split into 2 columns. When I try adding the table of contents, it doesn’t stay within one column but has to take up the entire page’s width and generally refuses to work with the existing page structure at all. Is it possible to have it only take up one column?
To answer we need more information on what you do now:
- is the TOC in its own page style?
- have you customised the Contents n paragraph styles AND the “structure” template for a TOC?
